A decorated runner, First Endurance athlete of ten years, race director and author, Krissy Moehl is setting out on the road for a 10-stop book tour to speak about her new book “Running Your First Ultra”, a guide book to prepare you to complete a 50K, 50-mile or 100-mile running race.
Moehl, known for her countless notable victories, long standing course records, encouraging personality and most recently taking the FKT (fastest known time) on the Tahoe Rim Trail and being selected to the USA Trail Running Team in 2015 was motivated by her passion for coaching first time ultra runners to write a book.
“I love the energy, curiosity and drive newbies to ultrarunning bring.”
With customizable training plans, tips and stories of her running experiences, Moehl’s hope is “the book helps people enjoy their entry to ultrarunning and hopefully learn from my trial and error to minimize their’s and to encourage personal awareness and the ability to tune in to your body to know what it needs”.
Moehl has her plate full for 2016 with multiple running adventures and stated “right now I am focused on launching this book (definitely an adventure!), race directing Chuckanut 50k for the 14th year and organizing and training a group of local runners through my new group coaching business, Revolution Running“.
