"Embracing the NEW is exciting and a bit daunting but I am here for it."
I was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil and moved to the USA when I was 16 years old. In 2005 I decided to buy a bicycle and give in to what everyone seemed to do around there, triathlons. My very first race was the Wildflower Olympic Distance Triathlon, where I came in 5th. I was thrilled! In 2006 I competed in my very first bike race and won it and totally fell in love with the sport of cycling.
